New Acellus CTE Course Released — Agriculture I

Students who are interested in a career in agriculture now have an Acellus CTE course to help them prepare.

Targeted for high school students, Agriculture I gives an overview of the six career sectors that are available in this, the largest industry in the U.S. 

Following the overview, the course digs in on one of the sectors — Animal Systems — to give students a more in-depth understanding of the skills and procedures in the production, feeding, nutrition, and breeding of different animals. The course also includes lessons on agriculture support systems such as the FFA, and on the workings of the metal and wood shops —information important to success in this career sector.
