New Flag Alerts Students to Teacher Messages

There are times when teachers who are watching over Acellus courses see a need to help a student by sending a timely message.

In the past, students didn’t see those messages unless they went back to the Acellus login screen and checked their ‘Messages’ icon.

To streamline and make messaging more effective, Acellus has added a feature to the student interface that lets students immediately know when they have a new message. No matter where the students may be working in their courses, whenever they receive a new message, a number will appear above the Exit Door on their Acellus screen. Clicking on the number will take them right into their messages.

To further streamline communication,  Acellus has added an additional feature so that students and also parents can reply to a teacher’s message in the same message window, without having to leave the page and go into a new window in order to respond.

We believe these new features will help teacher/parent/student communication be more timely and more effective, giving our students the best support possible in their studies.
