Acellus Adds New High School Course – British Literature

British Literature is a robust high school language arts course targeted for 11th and 12th grade students.

It examines the development of British Literature through the ages against a backdrop of British social and political history and gives a rich exposure to classic texts that include epics, legends, histories, poetry, short story, novel, and drama.

The course also includes units on four different types of writing to give students practice with critical thinking and analysis, as they draw from their own experience and as they respond to the literature they read.

A strong addition to the writing units is a step-by-step guide through the process of writing a research report, which helps them be better prepared for college and/or career.
